Last Modified: August 20, 2024

RELEASE 1.9.1

  • Updated .Net Framework required minimum version to ensure Microsoft compliance with supported versions.

Meetings

  • Fixed: When adding a new Meeting, Customer & Contact fields auto-populate with creator’s info if creator is in the SMP database.
    • This has been resolved. Company and contact will remain blank when creating the meeting, allowing/requiring the user to choose from the drop down list.

RELEASE 1.9

  • Added new info capture technology to the background of Outlook Agent – this allows SMP team to review information about user’s usage of the Agent, errors and warnings logged, version history, etc. for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Fields that are Read-Only in SMP are now also Read-Only inside Outlook-synced items. This impacts Company and Contact records, and their relative profiling fields.
  • Fields hidden in SMP by Administrators will also be hidden from the user when using Outlook Agent – this change directly impacts Meetings.
  • Updated the security certificate on file as part of ongoing maintenance.

  • Outlook Agent Capturing and Adjusting for Time Zone Differences
      • SMP is capturing Time Zone information, and will adjust Meeting Times, Reminder Times, and Task Reminders according to a user’s local time zone (as configured on their machine, which is also read by Outlook to assist with calendar management).
  • Meetings: Status Added
      • For consistency, Status options have been added to Meetings originating in, or being managed, via Outlook.

Meetings

  • Fixed: A user can add a meeting to SMP via the Outlook Agent even if he/she is not the organizer.
    • This has been resolved.  Meetings can only be added by the Owner/Creator/Organizer.  If additional staff need to join the meeting, the organizer can add those individuals as Additional Salespeople, and the meeting will then appear on their calendar (if the user is synchronizing Meetings via the Outlook Agent).
  • Fixed: Subject and Company Name drop downs, and some right-side drop downs are cut off in high-DPI environments.
  • Fixed: “Invite” check boxes for Additional Contacts and Additional Salespersons are not click-able, preventing the inclusion on the meeting invite.

Companies and Contacts

  • Fixed: Contacts’ company associations can be removed, causing synchronization conflict warnings.
    • This has been resolved.  If Company ID or Name is removed from a contact record, upon next open of the contact record or next background sync (whichever occurs first), the missing information will be copied back over the missing ID and/or Name.
  • Fixed: Tool Tips for adding New Company indicate “Customer”.  Verbiage updated to reflect new SMP nomenclature.
