SMP Hires New Senior Account Manager
We’re growing again to support our clients.
Brooke Himmelberger has recently joined SMP as our new Sr. Account Manager. Her primary responsibility will be to assist and champion SMP clients as they implement distribution sales and marketing solutions for strategic sales management, planning, forecasting and marketing execution.
“I am very pleased to be a part of the SMP team and eager to help our clients with their sales and marketing technology,” said Himmelberger. “I’ve been an SMP user myself and I’m excited to share best practices with our clients. Success in distribution sales and marketing requires industry-specific experience and I’m looking forward to leveraging my eight years of electrical distribution experience as I help SMP clients drive new sales.”
Brooke has over 15 years of experience in marketing and client relations. She spent the last 8 years as the Marketing Administrator of a family owned electrical distributor in NE Pennsylvania where she was the primary SMP Administrator. As the SMP Administrator she was responsible for maintaining customer contact information, producing targeted marketing lists in Market Analysis, sending marketing mailers and using Activity Review to monitor the status of planned joint sales calls to ensure completion. She was also responsible for creating logins, managing passwords, assigning permissions and training the associates on the nuances of the SMP program.
“Brooke is a terrific addition to our team,” said Joe Raventos, SMP President. “As we continue to grow our business and distributors strive to implement new sales and marketing solutions and best practices, we felt it was the right time to bring someone with Brooke’s experience into the team. Her proven track record of integrating marketing and sales strategies together using SMP solutions will be a major asset to SMP as well as to our current and future clients.”
Brooke lives in the suburbs of Reading, PA with her black Shar pei “Bud.” She’s a member of the Electrical Association of Reading & Berks County and sits on the Board of Directors, as Secretary/Treasurer, for the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI). She recently won the 2012 A-D MVP Award for “best-in-class” idea or action that drives the AD message within the Affiliate’s company.
